We came here for the first time and I am shocked at the quality of the food. Truly disappointing experience. I’ve had really good dumplings before and even will say some of the best dumplings in my life since moving to Houston. This was not that. The chicken Xio Long Bao tasted really off, the scallion pancakes barely had any green onions in it, the Dan Dan noodles ( which usually have Meat) were not only so oily that it became undesirable to eat it they came with no meat, the beef potstickers as well had an odd and sort of rancid flavor to them. The only decent thing was the egg fried rice. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous but the quality of food was way below what I anticipated. I left feeling like I consumed more oil than anything during my meal. Everything felt oily and just did not have that great dumpling savory flavor I love. I also found that the portion sizes for the pricing was also pretty unequal. It is confusing to tell people to fill out the form to order and or do it online. The servers were really nice but the overall food experience does not make me want to come back and will not be coming back.

I had a great experience at Dough Zone! The food came out super fast, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server did a wonderful job explaining the menu and making recommendations, which really helped since there were so many good options to choose from. I had the chicken soup, dumplings, sweet-and-sour cucumber, and chili oil wontons, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can really tell they put care into every dish. I will definitely be back!

Had a great meal at Dough Zone in Sugar Land. The Dan Dan noodles were rich, savory, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick of spice. The soup dumplings were amazing—thin skin, packed with flavorful broth, and super satisfying. Definitely one of the best spots for dumplings in the area. Will be back again!

I had a great experience at Dough Zone in Sugar Land. The restaurant has a modern, welcoming atmosphere and the service was friendly and efficient from the moment we walked in. The dumplings were definitely the highlight — perfectly cooked with delicate wrappers and flavorful fillings. The soup dumplings were especially delicious, with rich broth inside and a great balance of seasoning. We also tried a few other dishes, and everything came out fresh, hot, and well-prepared. Portions were good for sharing, which made it fun to try several different items. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience felt both casual and high quality. If you’re in the Sugar Land area and craving authentic, comforting dumplings, Dough Zone is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Service was great from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was amazing and I love all the little details the incorporated into the interior including the steam baskets on the wall. I ordered the Thai Tea and hubby had a coke (it was served in a can). Server was super helpful and had tons of recommendations and noted them on the order form for us. We wanted to try a little bit of everything and we loved all the dishes we ordered! They didn’t bring everything out at once which was great because we go to enjoy every single dish fresh! The food here is authentic and not that frozen stuff you get at other places. You have to try this place!!!
